TOY DRIVE! TOY DRIVE!
Are you doing some SPRING CLEANING??? Do you have extra TOYS around your house that are in good condition??? Then we’d like you to consider giving your toys to children that NEED them. Bring your toys to church with you on THIS Sunday, April 25th and drop them off at the Children’s Library. Toys will benefit children receiving services through TEIS (Tennessee Early Intervention System)…all children involved are receiving various therapies for their disabilities, but many of the families do not have the means or resources to fund toys for their children. Toys will be given to children all over the Middle Tennessee area, specifically Nashville, and will be put to good use! Please, no bikes or strollers. They don’t have the space for them. Letters to families who welcomed children through birth and/or adoption in 2009 were mailed Thursday, March 11th. If you do not receive your letter, please contact Shirley Banning at 297-8551, ext. 121.
Summer Day Camps…
Zoner Day Camp: ZDC is our Camp for children who have completed Kindergarten, 1st Grade or 2nd Grade in 2010. It will take place in Adventure Zone on June 21st-23rd. Applications will be available at Children/Family Registration. on the First Sunday in May.
Camp Station: Camp Station is our One-Day Day Camp for children who have turned 4 1/2 by May 31, 2010. It will take place in Celebration Station on Friday, June 25th. Applications will be available at Children/Family Registration on the first Sunday in May.
